How do I hide/disable blogs that I don't want the customer to see on my shopify store?

Why hiding your blog can be an important strategy for your store

As a store owner, it’s important to have control on the visibility of blog page. You might want to make it invisible so that no one can access your blog page or you might just want to remove the /blog URL.

To do this you’ll have to follow the following steps:

Step 1: From your Shopify admin, click Online Store, and then click Blog Posts. You can see all the blogs listed down. Click on the blog you want to hide.

Step 2: On the right side you will see the visibility option for the blog.

Step 3: You will have the full control. Either you can make it visible instantly or scheduled it t be visible in the future.

Step 4: After you save it, you can see the updated visibility information.

The visibility of the blog page is important because it can affect the sale of products. Sometime, the blog pages can have a negative impact on the sale of products if they are not properly managed.

If you are writing blog content that is not related to your business or product, then it will be a distraction for the customers and they may not show interest in your products.

Generally, people who want to buy a product or service do not visit any website for reading blogs because they know that these types of blogs are only for information and promotion.
