What data do we collect?
Konigle collects the following data:
- Your personal information such as name, email address, country.
- If you connect an online store with Konigle, we will collect store’s customers’ personal information that includes name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses.
- Your store’s data such as product catalog, orders, inventory information as authorised by you during the installation of Konigle plugins on your store.
- Anonymous statistics about usage of the product that helps us improve the Konigle product.
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Konigle with most of the data we collect or authorise us to retrieve the data from third party platforms. We collect data and process data when you:
- Signup for Konigle or our newsletter
- Connect your online stores hosted on third party provider.
- Install widgets provided by Konigle on your online store or website.
How will we use your data?
Konigle uses the collected data for the following purposes:
- Your email is only used for logging you in, responding to queries that you initiate, and product related notifications that you request. We will be using your email address to send our periodic newsletters and product updates which you can opt-out at any time.
- Your online store’s customer data is used to send SMS and email campaigns that you manually create, discount coupons that you configure inside Konigle app.
- Your store’s data will be used to provide product’s functionalities.
Konigle will not share your, your store’s and customer’s data with any other organisations in any format.
We do not sell your private store data. This is the reason we charge for using Konigle, rather than offering a free product that makes money by selling your data. We do not use your store information to run competing e-commerce businesses. Our mission is to help our users save time and make more money online and we make money by charging for our services, rather than competing against our users.
How do we store your data?
Konigle securely stores your data in the database service provided by Google Cloud Platform. All the data we collect and store are encrypted, including temporary files and backups.
Konigle will keep that data that we receive from your store as long as you keep the Konigle plugin installed. We will delete your data once you uninstall the plugin. Deleted information may be kept in backups for up to 48 hours. Backups are encrypted and are only accessed if needed for disaster recovery.
Security
We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. For instance, all communication with the app and website requires HTTPS with certificate pinning. Passwords are hashed, not stored, using industry-standard methods. All the database access from our backend servers use standard SSL encryption.
Marketing
Our Company would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like.
If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop Konigle from contacting you for marketing purposes right from the marketing emails that we send.
What are your data protection rights?
Our Company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access– You have the right to request Our Company for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
