Who invented the internet ?

The internet was invented by British Computer Scientist Tim Berners-Lee at CERN. He shared his discovery with the world by hosting the first ever website in 1993. 

When was the internet invented ?

The internet is believed to have been invented in the early 90s , where Tim Berner-Lee's iteration of intertwingled computing is credited as the Internet. Though it was almost 20 years before in 1974 when Ted Nelson invented the hyperlink and the notion that all information is connected — both intertwined and intermingled i.e. Intertwingularity , that forms the basis of the Internet.
