Business owners should learn from Kylie Cosmetics and use their tactics to make the most of promotions. Create a 'Sale' collection page and configure prices with the Bulk Price Editor. Add tags so products are added automatically to the collection.

When searching for ways to boost sales, many business owners turn to running promotions and offering discounts as the easiest and most effective method. However, with so many other stores doing the same, it can be challenging to differentiate your business from the rest. This is where you can learn from Kylie Cosmetics.

There are multiple known advantages of running a promotions such as increasing conversions by attracting and converting customers for the first time, and propelling sales with an increased sales volume. But Kylie Cosmetics takes it a step further by displaying their sales items all in a dedicated Sales collection page. This is a very useful tactic, but in what way?

For instance, during Black Friday and Cyber Monday when most people's main intentions are to look for the best deals available, this sales collection would be one of Kylie Cosmetics’ most highly visited collection. This therefore increases the likelihood of visitors making a purchase.

Don't just cop her style, copy this tactic she uses as well!

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin to create a new automatic 'Sale’ collection.
  2. Install Konigle on your Shopify store.
  3. Under Pricing power strategy, implement the ‘Run a flash sale’ tactic.
  4. Configure prices with the Bulk Price Editor tool. Here's a useful tip: Add a ‘valid to’ date so that prices will automatically revert after the sales period!
